The release of standard genome sequences of Chinese spring, wild emmer, durum wheat, their ancestors and several relative species has dramatically accelerated basic and applied research in wheats. In order to promote global collaboration among scientists from China and abroad, we are going to hold a zoom symposium entitled The New Era of Wheat Genomics. Three major topics will be covered including: (1) Wheat domestication and improvement; (2) Functional genomics focused on important genes; (3) New technologies for germplasm innovation. All scientists and graduate students interesting in wheat science are welcome to participate through the following link on December 3rd-4th, 2021.
